The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust seeks a new trustee
We are delighted to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Board of Trustees. This is a unique chance to play a key role in shaping the future of one of the Royal Navy’s most cherished charities.
For over 100 years, The RNBT has supported the Royal Naval community and their families, providing essential financial assistance and care when it is needed most. Our mission is to uphold the highest standards of welfare and to continue its long-standing tradition of ‘helping those who serve and have served’.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the welfare of Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel, possess strong leadership and decision-making skills and share The RNBT’s dedication to improving lives within the naval family.
“It is an exciting moment to be joining The RNBT’s Board of Trustees,” says Chief Executive Debbie Dollner. “We’re entering a transformational phase of development at The Trust, working to innovate and expand the support we provide so that we can reach more members of the Royal Navy family.”
This voluntary role will require participation in six (6) Committee meetings throughout the year, as well as contributing to key discussions and strategic planning for The Trust’s growth and development. Trustees help oversee governance, compliance and financial stewardship, ensuring The RNBT continues to fulfil its vital mission.
Candidates with finance, legal, health and social care or charity governance are especially encouraged to apply, though all relevant experience will be considered.
